Durham, September 2020We recommend that you have your boiler serviced annually to make sure that everything is working as it should. If you have had a new boiler installed, a servicing inspection must usually be carried out after the first 12 months to meet the terms of your warranty.
For residential homeowners and tenants it is not a legal requirement to have your boiler serviced, however an annual gas safety inspection is required by law for landlords. It is recommended that you have an annual boiler servicing inspection annually, however, to ensure that everything is running smoothly.
If you’ve noticed that your boiler isn’t working as well as it should, you should probably have it serviced to check that there aren’t any problems or internal faults.
